I am looking for information on Hiram Waller , son of Hiram and Nancy Harvey Waller born 1822 in Bryan Co Ga. He married Sarah Jane Futch on 1-8-1852. By the 1860 Bryan Co census they had 3 children, Marietta 5, Emma 3, and James1, Sarah Jane Futch Waller remarried to William P Ennis in 1867. They are listed on the Chatham Co Ga 1870 census with 9 children.

I believe the first 3 belong to Hiram and Sarah Waller. Martha 14, Emma 12, and James 10.

The next 4, born before Sarah's marriage to William P Ennis, are Franklin 9, Henrietta 8, William 6, and Charles 5, all born before 1866.

The last 2, Jesse 3 and Ella 1, I know belong to William P Ennis and Sarah Jane Futch Waller.

Anyone with information on these children please email me. I am willing to share what I have.

I am searching for proof of parentage of Zilpha Anna RICHARDSON b. 10 May 1957/59 either Wise Co. or Russell Co., VA d. 22 Feb 1926 Hamblen Co., TN, buried at Bent Creek Cemetery, Whitesburg, Hamblen, TN.
Zilpha m. James Matison "Matt" BALLARD 30 Dec 1878 in Scott Co., VA. On the marriage register only first names of parents were required. Zilpha gives her father's name as Patterson & mother as Jamiah. Later a cousin tells me that Grt Grandmother Zilpha lived with her family the last years of her life and that as a little girl she was always told Zilpha's parents were Hopkins Richardson & Mary "Polly" Davis Richardson. On the marriage register the place of birth is listed as Wise County, VA. I have not been able to find any proof of this. Another Richardson researcher tells me that Zilpha was born in Russell Co., VA in 1855. Of course I have not found this proof either. It is suppose to be in the County records.
Hopkins was suppose to have been born in NC, Mary Davis born I believe in Grayson Co., VA.

I've long tried to locate birth AND death records for Lafayette AKA Fayette POWELL...who was born probably somewhere in KY c1860.
The only thing I know for sure - I have the marriage register - is that the marriage of Elizabeth ['Lizzie'] Rogers and Lafayette Powell was solemnized on 9 May 1881 in Scott Co KY. The bride's father gave consent and Lafayette was 'of age'.
Their only offspring - my grandfather - Lewis Irwin/Erwin POWELL was born Mar 1882. Lizzie remarries in Nov 1884 and I have no idea what happened to, or where Fayette went. I've long searched for either a birth or death record...so if anyone has any clues about this POWELL, I'd love to hear them.

My ggrand parents were Riley and Caledona Cook. When my grandfather was born, Robert Haston Cook bJan29 1884 they were in New Castle, Alabama. Grandpa told us that the family had a plantation in New Castle. He also told my father that the Cook family was large, 14 or 15 children. Grampa only spoke of one brother, an older brother Henry. When grandpa married my grandmother Wilma Bush in Santa Cruz Calif. in 1913 grandpa put on the marriage licence that his parents were from Georgia. Wilma Bush was daughter of John and Etta Bush of New York. A gg cousin of my grandmother was married to Rufus King who signed the Constitution of the United States of America.
I would sure like to be able to find any decendants of my family. Thanks

Seeking FENNEL family who owned plantation in Cedartown, GA area (we assume it is in Cedartown, GA area, as that is where in 1857 daughter Hannah Catherine FENNEL B: 1834 GA married James A. DAVIS B: 1838, Talladega Co. ALA) The family stories persist that Hannah Catherine was viewed by her family as marrying beneath her station (well at least he wasn't a YANKEE (g)), and therefore only received two slaves to take with her when she left the plantation.
